Maybe that is because they have become a rubber-stamp group who can't think for themselves - that would be embarrassing enough to not want to publish their minutes.
I know from a school board member that they don't even consider things, I quote "if Jim says its OK, then it must be". I hope this website is brought to the public's attention, and that there reminded of it when its time to vote. They should all be gone. They do not have the best interest of our students, teachers, and parents in mind. I asked to be put on the agenda one time, I was told no that Dr.hi son or herl could listen to me. Its might right as a parent if I want to let the school board know of my concern.
Not sure if the district is hiding anything in its minutes. It is just best practice for public institutions to keep their minutes up-to-date and available to the public. Really no excuse in the digital age.
You really think all this was caused by them? Stand forward whoever you are and if you can fix it, then do so. Did you know that when Linda Gray Smith was in Chillicothe she wanted to put all the teachers on PIP's and the administrators all said no. Then she comes down here and some of our administrators are given the PIP's and told to take care of it by her.
I requested access to see minutes of board meetings that are not listed on-line, and I kept getting the run around, and never did get the minutes, even though I sent them a check.

ReplyDeleteOr maybe it's because the school board doesn't really have a say. They are dictated by Hinson, not what it should be...
ReplyDeleteRumor is you write a letter to a school board member and they hand it directly to Hinson for a response. Good job with constituent service Franklin.
ReplyDeleteWhen was the last time the school board took a vote that was not unanimous?
