We take it as a sign of success that the District has blocked access to this blog from the district's web servers. Not that we were expecting people to access the blog from work. Duh.

Censored...just like in district. How dare you say anything bad or negative about the district...you must not be a team player.
ReplyDeletePIPster in waiting? Maybe already there.
DeleteNope...actually I have exceeds expectations on my evaluations.
DeleteYou sound like a teacher who wants to be an administrator.
DeleteI really don't understand the secrecy! It is becoming ludicrous!
ReplyDeleteMy opinion is that if they were forthcoming with more information, maybe we wouldn't feel like we were being left out. Maybe we would have answers to all these questions. It really is bothersome.
ReplyDeleteThe keeping of secrets just makes us feel like we are being lied to instead of like we are intelligent professionals.
ReplyDeleteObviously its all true or they would address this issue, and deny it all. Sounds like they got caught with their hand in cookie jar, oh sorry Mr.hinson I meant in the bag of carrots. I forgot no cookies
ReplyDeleteThis is PIP Central. Paranoia required, ignorance mandated and stupidity exhibited first hand. Enough to explain why test scores might be waning . . . union flunkies masquerading as teachers. Go flip burgers in your Lee's Summit, Liberty or Blue Springs neighborhood. It might be a job that you could actually do.
ReplyDeleteThis site is for freedom of speech. The first amendment of the constitution guarantees it! Why dont you come forward whoever you are and take the helm of leadership. If you can do better than Christopher and Mindy step forward. But no you are too scared, so you will just trash talk all the hard work they have done to fight for you!
ReplyDeleteIf you are that ashamed that they created it maybe you should step forward and take over. You really think you could do better than them? Last I knew they had both done a fantastic job in their capacity.
ReplyDeleteIf you are that ashamed, take a stand and do something. I admire them for standing in the front of the organization and taking a stand. Maybe you should look to their leadership for yourself!
ReplyDeleteHave you noticed that most people are commenting on how ridiculous the district is.
Possibly--I am familiar with the writing styles of both these individuals, and the original posts here don't really sound like them. I appreciate the fact that you are posting a different opinion, because that is exactly what is lacking in the school district. If you disagree with mandates such as RTPI, it is impossible to have a reasonable discussion about whether or not it is good for kids. I sent a calm reasonable question to the union about a concern, which was forwarded to CO for a response with my name and school removed. I was sent the CO response and it was hateful and sarcastic. I am grateful that the union protected my identity and regret that my representatives had to experience the resulting venom.
ReplyDeleteThe main problem I have seen over the last 10 years is that if you disagree with anything you are labeled as not being a team player, negative, etc. and then blackballed. You cannot have an intelligent discussion unless it is in total agreement with what has become the district position. Nothing is more frustrating than serving on a committee that is to make a decision, wasting several hours to discover a decision has already been made. Don't waste our time pretending that you respect our opinions. Just tell us the party line and we can decide whether to stay or not.
